Circularity Capital takes home gold at the BVCA Excellence in Impact Awards
Circularity Capital, the specialist European growth stage investor in the circular economy, has taken home gold in the ‘GP, specialising in impact investing strategies’ category at this year’s BVCA’s Excellence in Impact Awards.
Presented at the BVCA Summit (5 October), the accolade showcases best practice in impact investing, with Circularity commended for delivering environmental and social impact through the activities of its portfolio companies. With the winners chosen by an independent judging panel, entries needed to demonstrate sector-leading practices for measuring, managing, and reporting impact, with a focus on continuous improvement.
In addition, the judges were looking for depth of engagement with portfolio companies, evidence of reporting to LPs, alignment with a recognised reporting framework and the ability to demonstrate how a focus on impact has led to both value creation and financial returns.
