REBIKE partners with BusinessBike to upgrade company bike leasing

Circularity portfolio company REBIKE, the European leader in eBike rental and remanufacturing, has joined forces with company leasing specialist BusinessBike to offer refurbished eBikes to its business customers. As part of the new partnership, BusinessBike's company eBike leasing programme will now include refurbished models from REBIKE where, at the end of a lease contract, eBikes are professionally refurbished leased out again.

The partnership creates a closed-loop system of “rental-refurbishment-reuse” and marks a real milestone for the circularity of the micromobility industry. REBIKE’s ‘Premium Refurbishment Programme’ unlocks multiple cycles of refurbishment and re-leasing through BusinessBike, thereby greatly extending the lifecycle of each eBike. This circular economy model not only increase the innate value of each eBike by keeping it in the value chain for longer, but also reduces waste sent to landfill and displaces the need for virgin materials and manufacturing processes associated with building new.
