Advanced Clothing Solutions partners with AllSaints to accelerate circular fashion
Circularity Capital portfolio company, Advanced Clothing Solutions (ACS), has partnered with leading global fashion brand AllSaints to support its new circular economy service, ‘AllSaints Rental’.
As an alternative to purchasing new, customers can now rent items from the brand’s extensive fashion range, including leather, knit, denim, dress and casual. This not only offers a cost-effective solution for customers looking to keep their wardrobes up-to-date, but will extend the lifespan of thousands of AllSaints garments and reduce demand for the manufacture of new items.
A key enabler of circular fashion, ACS will manage the entire reverse logistics process, from environmentally-friendly cleaning and brand authentication, to garment repair, ironing, photography, packaging and delivery. This whole-system solution will help facilitate AllSaints’ transition to a circular economy business model and help maximise the brand’s efficiency and profitability.
Circularity Capital partner, David Mowat, commented: “AllSaints’ new rental service marks a major milestone for the circular economy of the brand and the fashion industry as a whole. With support from ACS, AllSaints will help transform the industry from a traditional take-make-dispose and help keep products in the value chain longer, far extending garment lifecycles and alleviating waste.
“The team at ACS are true pioneers with a passion for transforming the fashion industry and facilitating the shift towards access over ownership. This latest partnership marks the latest in a long line of announcements that demonstrates the real-world impacts of embracing a circular business model and ACS’s pivotal role in the circular economy of fashion.”
