A founding partner of Circularity Capital and member of the Investment Committee, he has significant experience working with leading brands worldwide to help deploy highly successful circular business models.

Commenting on his appointment, Jamie said: “I’m looking forward to joining The Circulars Advisory Group and providing my insight, mentorship and expertise to the next cohort of successful applicants.

“While economic growth has traditionally been driven by a linear model of consumption, the future lies in circular business models that can enhance resource productivity to drive competitive advantage. Circularity Capital was founded to support the growth of businesses enabling the circular economy – a vision reflected perfectly by The Circulars Accelerator.”

Cathy McAndrew, Program Lead at The Circulars Accelerator, added: “Adopting a more circular economy will be crucial to build back better in response to the current pandemic, as well as the complex (but solvable) global climate challenges. The Circulars Accelerator aims to drive innovation by supporting growth stage innovators in need of tailored support to accelerate their journey to scale.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jamie to The Circulars Advisory Group. His experience, knowledge and understanding will prove absolutely invaluable.”

An initiative of Accenture, The Circulars Accelerator is run in collaboration with Ecolab. Applications for the next cohort are open until Monday 30th November. For more information, visit www.thecirculars.org.
