ReBike strengthens partnership with Decathlon
Circularity Capital Welcomes Strengthened Partnership Between Decathlon Pulse and Rebike Mobility
Circularity Capital is pleased to highlight the deepening partnership between Decathlon Pulse, the investment arm and start‑up studio of DECATHLON, and Rebike Mobility, a leading European provider of refurbished e‑bikes. Decathlon Pulse has increased its investment to become Rebike Mobility’s majority shareholder—an important milestone that underscores the growing momentum behind circular business models in the mobility sector.
Advancing Circular Solutions in E‑Mobility
Founded in 2018 by Thomas Bernik and Sven Erger, Rebike Mobility has established itself as one of the most advanced e‑bike refurbishment and recommerce businesses in Europe. By professionally refurbishing high‑quality bikes and extending their usable life, Rebike supports the transition to sustainable mobility while helping consumers access premium products at attractive prices.
This strengthened partnership reinforces a shared commitment to accelerating the circular economy within the cycling industry and expanding the professionally refurbished e‑bike market across Europe.
A Continued Independent Growth Journey
Rebike Mobility will continue to operate as an independent company, brand, and operational entity. The existing management team, including co‑founders Thomas Bernik and Sven Erger, will remain in place to lead the next phase of growth and uphold the operational excellence that has defined the business to date.
Anders Berger, Circularity Capital, commented:“We’re delighted to continue investing alongside Decathlon Pulse. Our partnership is built on a shared vision to embed circular economy solutions and deliver environmental impact alongside financial success. As a specialist circular economy investor, we see Rebike as a flagship example—extending product life, delivering high‑quality refurbishment at scale, and making sustainable mobility more accessible. With Decathlon Pulse’s majority investment and Rebike’s expertise, we look forward to supporting accelerated growth and continued positive impact as the partnership expands across Europe and beyond.”
Strong Results From Shop‑in‑Shop Pilot in Germany
As part of their collaboration, Decathlon and Rebike Mobility have piloted a successful shop‑in‑shop model in three German locations—Weiterstadt, Cologne‑Marsdorf and Leipzig Nova. The initiative, launched in March 2025, enables customers to access premium refurbished e‑bikes directly within Decathlon stores, supported by a “Buy Back” system that feeds high‑quality stock into Rebike’s refurbishment operations.
These pilots have demonstrated strong performance and customer resonance. Building on this momentum, Rebike Mobility plans to extend the shop‑in‑shop concept to six additional Decathlon stores in Germany during 2026.
About Circularity Capital’s Investment Approach

Rebike Mobility exemplifies this model, combining industrial refurbishment capabilities with a scalable recommerce platform that supports a more resource‑efficient mobility system.
