Circularity Capital relocates European headquarters
Following a period of continued growth, Circularity Capital has relocated its European headquarters to Randolph House in central Edinburgh. With state-of-the-art facilities and an expansive floorplan, the new location is the perfect base for the company’s rapidly growing team.
Alongside bespoke meeting facilities, extensive office space, two boardrooms and a number of team breakout areas, the development boasts ample room for further expansion, representing a commitment to accelerating the next chapter in Circularity Capital’s expansion.
Reflecting the company’s mission and investment mandate, the fitout has been completed with circular economy thinking firmly in mind. Alongside featuring a Nordik moss living wall, recycled carpet tiles, sustainable cork flooring, acoustic wood wool panels and remanufactured furniture, the whole office has been decorated with non-toxic paints featuring an rPVB-based binder from Circularity portfolio company Shark Solutions.
Jamie Butterworth, co-founding partner of Circularity Capital, commented: “We’d been based out of our previous offices in Charlotte Square since founding the business back in 2015. It had served us well – witnessing our first two fundraises (CEGFI and CEGFII), the deployment of 13 investments and our first portfolio exit (ZigZag to Global Blue Group).
“However, as the team has continued to grow and our requirements have developed, it was simply no longer fit for purpose. The new site has sufficient space for our expanding team, alongside modern facilities and functionality. Its central location and enviable transport links provide quick and easy access to portfolio companies across Europe – essential for regular international travel.
“Over the coming months, we’re looking forward to welcoming investors and investees alike to our new headquarters. We’re confident that it will prove the perfect base as we continue to deliver upon our investment strategy.”
