Circularity Capital CFO shortlisted for prestigious investment industry award

Jenny Boyd, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Circularity Capital, has been nominated in the ‘Legal & Compliance Professional of the Year’ category at the 2023 Drawdown Awards. Celebrating excellence and innovation within private fund operations, the awards recognise Europe’s leading firms and their outstanding employees.

The judges were impressed with Jenny’s contribution to Circularity Capital, its LPs and portfolio companies, as well as its positive impact on the wider community. Ahead of the awards ceremony, which takes place at the Hilton London Bankside on Wednesday 7th June, an independent panel will identify the category’s overall winner based on evidence of innovation, commercial acumen, process efficiency and third party testimonials.

Having joined Circularity Capital during the close of its debut fund, Jenny is responsible for all aspects of the company’s finance, tax and regulatory compliance activities, including best practise environmental impact reporting. With significant experience across private equity, Jenny is committed to delivering upon Circularity’s promises to its investors, as well as contributing to meaningful change in the wider economy.

Jenny commented: “I’m delighted to have made the shortlist for this year’s Drawdown Awards. The nomination is testament to the work of the whole Circularity team in building a firm with specialist domain expertise in the circular economy, which continues to go from strength to strength.

“The circular economy represents a huge opportunity for investors and following the oversubscribed final close of our second fund I’ve been excited to focus my role on further embedding institutional quality systems and processes within the firm.”

Circularity Capital is a leading specialist private equity fund manager dedicated to supporting growth-stage businesses in the circular economy. In the past 12 months alone, the company has announced the successful close of its €215m second fund (CEGFII) and added a number of innovative companies to its impressive portfolio – including CERAFILTEC, ACS, Bike Club and REBIKE.
