Circularity Capital appoints Nicola Keen as Operating Principal
Circularity Capital has announced the appointment of Nicola Keen as Operating Principal.
Joining the business from innovation and transformation specialist PA Consulting, Keen brings a wealth of experience in technology and innovation consultancy with a strong focus on supporting the growth and innovation of circular businesses. Prior to PA Consulting, Keen held roles at CommonVC, Schlumberger and Mpac Langen.
Keen will play a pivotal role in further developing Circularity’s work in screening circular investment opportunities, as well as helping portfolio companies to maximise their growth potential and measure and validate their sustainability impact. With expertise in circular economy strategies across a range of industry sectors, she will prove an invaluable addition to the company’s rapidly-expanding team.
Commenting on her appointment, Nicola said: “I’m delighted to join the Circularity Capital team at such a critical time for the business. As the circular economy continues to redefine today’s linear take-make-dispose model of production and consumption, I’m excited to be playing a driving role in the company’s ongoing success.”
Jamie Butterworth, Founding Partner of Circularity Capital, added: “Through her work with PA Consulting, among other roles, Nicola brings exceptional experience to our growing team. With her breadth of knowledge in the circular economy and a proven track record in helping companies to measure and communicate their sustainability credentials, her appointment is further evidence of our continued global growth.”
Keen’s appointment follows a successful 12 month period for Circularity Capital. Alongside announcing the successful exit of SaaS platform ZigZag to Global Blue Group, the growth equity firm added sustainable packaging manufacturer PackBenefit to its portfolio and announced a follow-on investment in Berlin-based tech rental pioneer Grover.
