Andrew Shannon is a founding partner at Circularity Capital, a specialist private equity firm dedicated to scaling businesses that enable the circular economy. With over two decades of experience in investment banking and private equity, Andrew brings deep sectoral insight and a hands-on approach to supporting purpose-driven companies.

Before co-founding Circularity Capital, Andrew held roles at Foresight Group, UBS, and Société Générale, where he advised on M&A and leveraged finance transactions across energy, infrastructure, and industrials in both London and New York. His early exposure to complex capital structures and operational transformation laid the foundation for his current focus: unlocking value through circular business models that reduce waste, extend product lifecycles, and drive resource efficiency.

At Circularity, Andrew leads origination and portfolio strategy, sits on the Investment Committee, and serves on the boards of several portfolio companies including BikeClub, CocoGreen, and Lendis. He is instrumental in aligning capital with innovation, helping management teams navigate growth while delivering measurable environmental and social impact.

Andrew holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Technology & Business Studies from Robert Gordon University. He has built a reputation for combining financial rigour with a deep commitment to sustainability, making him a trusted partner to founders and investors alike. His leadership continues to shape Circularity Capital’s mission to accelerate the transition to a circular economy through targeted investment and strategic guidance.
